Shristi Pukhrem

Shristi Pukhrem

Shristi Pukhrem is Senior Research Fellow at the India Foundation. She has been awarded doctorate from the Centre of South Asian Studies, School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Her PhD thesis titled as “India's Connectivity with South-East Asia: The Economic and Security Implications of the Asian Highway”. Earlier she has worked as a Researcher at the Institute for Defence Studies and Analysis (IDSA), New Delhi. As for her earlier research work, she has completed herM.Phil from the same university and wrote a dissertation entitled “Trans Asian Highway Projects in India’s North-East: The Security Implications”. She is also a Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) holder in Political Science, awarded by the University Grants Commission, India. Her areas of interest cover India-ASEAN relations, Act-East Policy, India and South East Asia relationsand policy studies.She has served as a Visiting Scholar at the ASEAN Studies Centre, Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok in April 2016. She has also participated and presented papers in many National and International Seminars along with many scholarly publications in her name.

Sudarshan Ramabadran

Sudarshan Ramabadran is currently the Deputy Director of India Foundation. He has graduated in Commerce from Chennai ( India) and later studied journalism from the Asian College of Journalism in India. He has previously worked with the New Indian Express ( a leading news daily) in Chennai & the Department of Information & Broadcasting, Government of Gujarat, Gandhi Nagar.  He has also served as a co-ordinator for All India Chinmaya Yuva Kendra, Global Youth Wing of Chinmaya Mission ( Renowned Spiritual Organisation).  His interests are Security, Strategy & International Relations.

Deeksha Goel is currently working as a Senior Research Fellow at India Foundation. Prior to that, she completed  her undergraduate in Engineering - Electronics and Communication in 2014  and was working with Vision India Foundation before joining India Foundation.

Srihari Avuthu

Srihari Avuthu is an advocate since 2000 and Managing Partner of Nyayavadi & Associates, a law firm dealing with legal documentation. An LL.M (Constitutional Law) from Osmania University, Hyderabad, he taught Constitutional Law for over five years at the University College of Law, Osmania University as a part-time faculty. General Secretary of Social Cause, a Hyderabad-based forum of thinkers (2003-2016), he is a social activist organising and assisting public programmes on socio-political themes and issues as well as interactive personality refreshment programmes for high-school students. He was also an active office-bearer of Navodayans, the Alumni Association of JNVCC (JawaharNavodayaVidyalaya, Chalakurthy Camp) for over a decade. His writings include a booklet on uniform civil code, over 20 articles in a weekly and over 500 published letters in various dailies. He is an Assistant Editor of India Foundation Journal since April 2016.

Apurv Mishra is currently the Editor-in- Chief at India Law Journal and Senior Research Fellow at India Foundation. He is also Visiting Faculty at Ashoka University and teaches courses on law at several institutions including Maharashtra National Law University, Mumbai; and NLIU Bhopal.

Shreya Challagalla is a Research Fellow at India Foundation. Her fields of research include India's soft power, the confluence of cultures and the Indian diaspora. She graduated with a degree in International Studies and Journalism and New Media from FLAME University, Pune. She was previously associated with the Observer Research Foundation where she authored a paper titled, "The Diaspora and India's Growth Story". She regularly writes for The Statesman.

Ngawang Gamtso Hardy works as a Junior Research Fellow at India Foundation. She has done her B.Com from Delhi University and is currently pursuing her M.Com from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). Her research interests include India’s diplomatic relations with South Korea, North Korea and Japan. She is also working on India’s Tibet Policy.

Rohit Kumar

Rohit Kumar is Junior Research Fellow at India Foundation. He basically deals with Border related issues like Border Management and Migration Crisis, mainly the Rohingya Influx in the Indian mainland. He presented a paper during the Mortality Session at the International Conference on Border Deaths and Migration Crisis held in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

Guru Prakash

Guru Prakash is currently working as a Assistant Professor (Law) in Patna University. He is also completing his doctoral research on the theme of socio-legal-dimensions of Article 370 of the Constitution of India.

Raghav Pandey

Raghav Pandey teaches Law at Maharashtra National Law University, Mumbai. He is also a Senior Research Fellow of the UGC with the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, Mumbai. His ongoing doctoral research focuses on an interface of economics and law, where he focuses on the study of evolving Insolvency regime in India. He is widely published in national news dalies and academic journals.

Aaditya Tiwari is currently working as Officer on Special Duty to Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh. He has previously worked as a Senior Research Fellow with India Foundation and as a Fellow with Teach For India. He completed his engineering from Harcourt Butler Technological Institute, Kanpur. He has authored two chapters in the book 'Public Policy- A Citizen's Guide'. His hobbies include quizzing and poetry writing. He has also completed 3 half marathons.
