Background
India Foundation, in partnership with Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India organised acomprehensive five-day Workshop on India’s Foreign Policy in Pravasi Bhartiya Kendra, New Delhi from January 28 – February 01, 2018. This event brought together, as participants, 60 aficionados of Indian foreign policy: researchers, academicians, and practitioners, from across India and from key partner nations. These sessions were addressed by senior practitioners and thought leaders including government officials, national leaders, experienced diplomats (serving and retired), domain-specialists and ambassadors of several countries.This online course titled Introduction to India’s Foreign Policy is based on the proceedings of this workshop.
Course Overview
The objective is to provide a one-stop, authentic resource for anyone interested in India’s foreign policy.It is best suited for students and teachers of political science and international relations as well as policy makers interested in India’s foreign policy. The curriculum of this online course is well-rounded to cover major thematic issues and vital bilateral relationships in India’s foreign policy. The course is divided into five modules:
