Event: Book Launch and Book Discussion on India Foundation Publications on Iindia-china Relationship

India Foundation, in collaboration with the India Habitat Centre, is releasing two books on India–China relations, titled The Dragon, The Elephant and The Emerging World Order and India and China: Civilisational States in a Fragmented World, edited by Alok Bansal, Zhang Jiadong, and Siddharth Singh.
The books will be released by Shri Harsh Vardhan Shringla, Member of Parliament and Former Foreign Secretary, Government of India, at 5:30 PM on Monday, 28 September 2026, at Gulmohar Hall, India Habitat Centre.
The book launch will be followed by a discussion on the books from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM.
Amb. Jaideep Mazumdar, Former Secretary (East), Ministry of External Affairs; Prof. Alka Acharya, Director, Institute of Chinese Studies; and Prof. Happymon Jacob, Founder and Director, CSDR, will discuss the books with the authors.
Ms. Rami Desai, Distinguished Fellow, India Foundation, will moderate the session.
