India Foundation organised the 1st International Conference on Exploring Consciousness: From Non-Duality to Non-Locality, The Man Machine Debate on 22-24 September, 2022 at the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurological Sciences (NIMHANS), Bangalore, India, with support from the Ministry of AYUSH, the Indian Council of Philosophical Research and the Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce & Industry.
As part of the proceedings of the conference, India Foundation is launching a book titled, “Exploring Consciousness: From Non-Duality to Non-Locality” published by Motilal Banarsidass Publishing House. His Holiness the Dalai Lama has contributed the preface for the book.
This book is a compilation of contributions from 26 of the world’s leading academic, scientific and spiritual minds. It brings together some of the most eminent researches and inventions in the area of physics, biology, neuroscience, artificial intelligence, cybernetics, quantum computing and allied fields as well as Indic spiritual and psychological disciplines to provide a holistic picture of the present and future of the study of consciousness and its implications.
